Spring is an insanely busy time around here. Horse pastures need seeding:

Mulch needs spreading:

And weeds need... "relocating":
Weeds! Argh! |
This spring has been warm and wet, perfect for growing plants, and a weed is just "a plant out of place". Unfortunately, I've got way too many "plants out of place". Probably because the mulch hasn't been spread yet. I guess I'd better get out there..... Mt. Mulch isn't going to spread itself!
They don't call it the Garden State for nothing...you are so lucky to have the warm weather down there to plant...mine is coming but I need to pull and mulch all those weeds out too...arrgghh
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy! I hope your veggies taste good, your flowers bloom and your horses have fresh new grass to eat.
ReplyDeleteShannon, You have been in the same place I have been. Over my head in busy fun and not enough hours in the day!
ReplyDeleteYour garden's looking good! And Mt. Mulch will turn into Mt. Compost if you don't get to it (ask me how I know!). Good luck with your chores! They can seem never-ending at times.
ReplyDeleteI think all gardeners are overwhelmed because of the amount of rain that everyone has had. Calling for nice weather this week-end, hopefully I can get my veggie garden in and lots of weeds pulled. I need to mulch and I have a shade garden that I need to fill. I could go on with my list, lol.
